Friday was a
tough day on our All Star team. As you already know, 4th grade numbers were very high to start the school year.
The district determined that we needed another teacher. This meant that each 4th grade class was going to lose kids
to a new classroom. As a teacher, this is the hardest thing that a classroom has to go through. I am a firm believer
that when one door closes another one opens. The All Stars that will start next week with their new classmates will
make it an amazing class. We will miss them in our day to day routine, but are blessed that we still get to enjoy their company
at recess and other 4th grade events. I encourage our current All Stars to continue to reach out to those students and remind
them how special they are to us. ~~~~ Due to testing, and the classroom
changes, some of the due dates for this week have changed. We will be working more on our sign language assignments
this upcoming week. We will also be getting things ready for our next presentations. Sept. 15- Oct. 15 is Hispanic
Heritage Month. Details concerning the presentations will be sent home next week.

Use the code and order online. Each order placed online gets
our class a free book!!
It's that time of year again! Start collecting Box Tops for Education seals and
help our school earn money for supplies. Last year our school earned over $1000. My class was the largest contributor
as we collected more than 1000 Box Tops and soup labels. Let's see if we can "top" last year's mark!!
